Achievements & highlights

Some of our initiatives

Lambeth Business Exhibition

We supported local initiatives through the Lambeth Business Exhibition, awarding a £500 start-up grant to the former Lambeth Youth Mayor and £250 to Brixton Soup Kitchen in recognition of its contribution to the community.

Studio 43 Community Support Activation

20 Wealth Central members attended and participated in a fitness class at Studio 43, supporting the local business through increased footfall and participation. This demonstrated that our community investment goes beyond funding.

Launch of TCC

TCC launched in June 2026 as a youth-led platform supported by youth ambassadors. The ambassadors delivered three community takeovers: bowling, Morley's and an ice cream van takeover after school. The launch engaged 600+ people during June, with 180 attendees recorded at a Wealth Central service, the highest attendance achieved.

Brixton Community Takeover

Provided food to 100+ people across the streets of Brixton, alongside a rap cypher to create an informal point of connection with the local community. Following the takeover, several individuals went on to become consistent Wealth Central members, including Shiloh, demonstrating the direct progression from community engagement to ongoing participation.

Ambassador Programme Meeting

A meeting was held for 12 ambassadors in a boardroom setting, providing a change from the usual Monday sessions. Pastor Josh opened the session with a discussion on the role and responsibilities of an ambassador, followed by a business masterclass where ambassadors pitched their own ideas. The session concluded with a leadership address from Pastor Paul focused on leadership and the future direction of the programme.

South of the river? Our sister entity runs its own programmes with the same standard of care.
